In Te Maunga me and half of the class learnt about cleaning an oil spill out of the ocean. We learnt how oil spill can hurt animals and how we cleaned up an oil spill. We used spoons, cotton buds and sponges and we used blue food colouring for the ocean and we used chocolate for the oil. And half class went to do some other activities and it was fun and we learnt about sea animals we went to see the sea life Crew that told us about fish did you know that fish can breath under water from the gills they can hold their breath for a long time and stingrays the have mouths at the bottom of their body their mouths are furry and a long tail and sharks don’t go near them their pretty dangers if you see one stay away from a shark and catfish a cat is not a fish but the reason why it’s called a catfish because it has cat whiskers and last but not least the squid it has 8 legs thats crazy!
